Hand painted antique table with gilded edges.
Perfect to brighten up a corner of any room as a side table or bedside table. The gilded edges show off the shape of the table and it's got a wonderful turned base.
I buy antique tables and hand paint them in either a malachite or lapis lazuli effect so each table is completely unique.
It is a long process of preparing the table, sanding and priming before I can even begin to add the top coat. The next step is the gilding around the edge, also quite time consuming. And finally all the tables are finished off with a couple of coats of yacht varnish making them very durable.
